The Sunflower Project engages teens and seniors in supervised, hands-on community service that supports vulnerable populations and local nonprofit organizations. Participants create art, play music, write pen-pal letters, organize small fundraising events, and assist animal shelters, foster programs, and neighborhood projects.

 

These efforts provide essential supplies, creative resources, and emotional support to children locally and in Ukraine, while offering scholarships to youth who demonstrate leadership, contribute their skills, and promote acts of kindness.

 

Through service learning and intergenerational mentorship, Sunflower Roots Inc. strengthens community connections, builds local capacity, and fosters lasting positive change.
