Roots Together​

Connecting Teens and Older AdultsRoots Together is Sunflower Roots’ intergenerational program.

​

It brings teens and older adults together to learn, create, share stories, and build friendships.We work with the Roots Rising Teen Club at San Marin High School in Novato.

What We Do

 

Together, teens and older adults:

Create art and cultural projects

Cook and share traditional foods

Exchange stories, memories, and skills

Play games and enjoy meaningful conversations

Participate in community events and service projectsTeens bring energy, creativity, and new ideas.

Older adults share their wisdom, traditions, and life experiences.Everyone has something valuable to give—and everyone has something meaningful to learn.One connection inspires another. Together, we grow.
